Privacy information
Plain language: what this site collects, who can see it, and what it never does.
What this page covers
This is the privacy information for the official Winter Agony website. It describes, plainly, what this site does with information — and what it does not do.
Information you give us
Two places on this site collect information that you type in yourself:
- The contact form. Your first name, last name, email address, the category you choose, the subject and your message. This is stored so the band can read and reply to it.
- The mailing list. Your email address and, if you choose to add it, your name. This is used to send release notifications and news from Winter Agony.
Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information, and there is no account or login to create.
Who can see it
Contact messages and mailing list signups are visible only to Winter Agony's own administrators. They are not shown publicly, are not sold, and are not shared with other companies.
What we do not do
- No advertising trackers and no third-party advertising cookies are set by this site.
- No profile of you is built from your browsing here.
- Your details are never used to contact you for anything you did not ask about.
Embedded players and third-party services
Some pages embed players from other services — YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud — so you can watch or listen without leaving the site. These embeds are loaded from those providers, and when you use them, those providers may set their own cookies or collect data under their own privacy policies. Video players do not play automatically; nothing from those services loads until the page needs it.
Links to the band's official shop and social platforms take you to other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
How long information is kept
Contact messages and mailing list entries are kept until the band no longer needs them, or until you ask for them to be removed — whichever comes first.
Asking for your information to be removed
Write to the band using the contact form and choose General Message, or use the email address published on the contact page, and ask for your details to be deleted. Your request will be actioned by the band's administrators.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and the band does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this page
If the way this site handles information changes — for example when a payment provider is connected for contributions — this page will be updated before that change goes live.
This page describes how the site genuinely works. The band should give it a final read — and have it reviewed alongside any local requirements that apply to them — before publication.
